Dumas Therapy, Inc. is a leading provider of therapy services. Our mission is to assist every patient in living their best life through functional therapeutic interventions. We provide occupational therapy services with an emphasis in specialty programs for autism, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, and visual impairments. Therapy is also provided to improve activities of daily living, fine motor skills and visual perceptual skills. Our treatments are individually selected for every patient and may consist of neuromuscular massage therapy, neurodevelopmental treatment, or sensory integration. Dumas Therapy utilizes these interventions to produce the best functional gains at home and school. We complete detailed evaluations and develop treatment plans to enhance daily performance while supporting and educating family members.

Mrs. Harriett Walker Dumas, OTR/L, CMT, CNMT, is a graduate of Tuskegee University with a B.S. degree in occupational therapy. She furthered her education in a two year healthcare professionals massage therapy program at New Life Institute (currently Rising Star Institute) in Atlanta, Georgia. She became a certified massage therapist and neuromuscular therapist. Mrs. Dumas has successfully incorporated massage as a modality with occupational therapy to assist with normalizing muscle tone with soft tissue manipulation. She has owned and operated three therapy facilities promoting the best functional gains for patients. Mrs. Dumas also teaches therapy continuing education classes.
